A.B. May is seeking a Service Supervisor to join our growing Plumbing Department. This role is designed to support our technicians by providing coaching, training, and leadership to ensure outstanding customer service and operational excellence. The Service Supervisor will play a key role in mentoring technicians, improving service quality, and driving department success. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and conduct quarterly performance reviews on assigned technicians.

  • Coach to the service system module to improve service quality and customer satisfaction.

  • Integrate sales strategies across other departments to drive profitable results.

  • Show technicians how to establish customer rapport to offer the right products and services.

  • Understand performance criteria and hold your team accountable for exceeding revenue goals.

  • Work alongside Customer Service and Dispatch to ensure the overall success of the business, including:

    • Meeting call counts

    • Monitoring labor

    • Achieving sold hours

  • Monitor performance of technicians through weekly ride-alongs and one-on-one coaching sessions.

  • Update coaching sessions in Bamboo to track progress and development.

  • Ensure incentive programs are equitable and properly documented.

  • Review and approve invoices, timecards, curbside feedback, and option sheets.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned, such as truck assignments, duty rosters, and operational support.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.

  • Ability to work in varied environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.

  • Ability to stand for long periods while working.

  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but proven successful experience in leadership may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Minimum of 1+ years in a leadership or management position with successful results.

  • Strong computer skills with competency in Microsoft Applications and Internet browsers.

  • Ability to inspire and lead others to attain company goals.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear and decisive messages.

  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
