- Build trust with customers by clearly explaining system performance and repair needs in everyday language
- Present service options, recommend system upgrades or replacements, and promote add-on products
- Generate and close in-home sales opportunities for equipment, accessories, and service plans
- Diagnose, service, and repair residential HVAC systems (air handlers, condensers, ductwork, thermostats, drainage, etc.)
- Perform system cleanings, adjustments, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs
- Maintain compliance with EPA, OSHA, and company safety standards
- Accurately document all work and recommendations using ServiceTitan or similar field service software
What You Will Bring:
- Proven success in Residential HVAC sales or in-home service recommendations
- 2+ years of residential HVAC service experience
- High school diploma or GED; technical training a plus
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and rooftops
- Excellent communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and a drive to meet performance goals
- Willingness to participate in rotating on-call shifts
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in confined spaces (e.g., attics, crawl spaces, basements).
- Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, and bending.
- Ability to work at heights (e.g., ladders, elevated plat forms).
- Manual dexterity to handle electrical tools and equipment.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions when performing outdoor installations.
